Fernando Alonso responded bluntly when asked about Max Verstappen's rumoured move to Mercedes. Alonso and Verstappen have been getting along well in the F1 paddock for years, and have sic world titles between them. Currently, there are many rumours about the Red Bull Racing driver moving to Mercedes. The Spanish veteran, therefore, was asked if he had any thoughts on the potential move.
GPBlog asked Alonso if he had any advice for the Dutchman; however, he interrupted the question, stating, "I don't know, and I don't care."
Alonso can become Verstappen's consultant
Yet, Alonso did not leave it at his first brief answer. The 43-year-old joked that Verstappen still could receive his advice, at a cost.
